Today, Tesla has launched a new addition to its Model 3 line-up in Europe – Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive.

Offering a range of 436mi / 700km (WLTP) and a consumption of 20.1kWh per 100 miles / 12.5kWh per 100km, Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive is the longest-range Model 3 ever and the most efficient Tesla vehicle built to date.

With an EV electricity tariff such as Intelligent Octopus Go at 7p per kWh an owner charging at home driving 10,000 miles per year would spend less than £150 a year on charging, approximately £140.82 for the Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive. And with the new 436 miles WLTP range for Model 3, a single charge will sustain more than a week of commutes.

The most efficient and best price-to-range ratio on the EV market in United Kingdom

Available in the UK starting at £44,990, Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive is the most efficient EV available in Europe today (and the best price-to-range ratio on the EV market in United Kingdom). This superior range at an approachable price point has been made possible through our continuous engineering efforts focused on energy efficiency and cost reduction. One simple way to illustrate this – Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive can travel a full kilometre on the energy it takes to heat a frozen meal in a microwave. Put into perspective, this means that future owners will be able to drive further per pound spent on charging.

Paired with low maintenance needs, Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive offers a benchmark experience for an overall cost close to those of a mass-market vehicle. And as with all Tesla vehicles, Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive comes standard with all premium attributes and features.

Everything that propelled Model 3 as a best-seller, with even more range

Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive stays true to what has made Model 3 a global best-seller: delivering great range and efficiency with sports-car performance and handling, paired with advanced technology features, at an approachable price point. This new variant includes all the improvements introduced to the Model 3 line-up last year, offering more refinement, comfort and premiumness – inside and out.

The encapsulating design of the cabin with premium materials and elevated levels of execution is quieter than ever thanks to 360˚ acoustic glass, improved suspension bushings, seals and sound-dampening materials, introduced with upgraded Model 3. This cocoon-like atmosphere is enhanced by a Tesla-designed premium audio system, featuring 9 speakers and an amplifier, with native support for streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and more. The 8” second-row display provides easy access to climate control, and entertainment to the rear passengers. Front passengers can enjoy the added comfort of ventilated seats, while heated seats in both the first and second rows provide warmth when temperatures drop.

Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive is the ideal pick for hardcore travellers who love to explore. With a best-in-class energy efficiency consumption and access to over 10,000 Tesla Superchargers in Europe – part of the largest and most reliable ultra-fast charging network in the world – the options will be boundless.

Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive is now available in United Kingdom starting at £44,990 – tesla.com/en_gb/model3/design

Model 3 in United Kingdom starts at £39,990.

Customer deliveries in Europe of Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive will begin in November.
